Archer & Greiner will relocate its longtime office in Haddonfield to the former headquarters of American Water Co. in nearby Voorhees.
South Jersey’s largest law firm said the move from One Centennial Square at 33 East Euclid Ave. in Haddonfield — its home since 1974 — to a new space five miles away at 1025 Laurel Oak Road in Voorhees positions Archer for “continued growth within a more collaborative, technologically advanced space.”
The move should be completed before Jan. 1.
On the surface, the two spaces seem quite similar. Both are set over three floors, where Archer is the sole tenant. In Haddonfield, Archer occupies about 74,000 square feet. The new space in Voorhees has 72,342 square feet.
But Archer Chief Operating Officer Stacey Sinclair said that’s where the similarities end. The new offices will have more natural light and open space because the building is designed around a three-story atrium with skylights and a perimeter window line. The atrium’s size means there will be less office space than in Haddonfield but Sinclair said it will be much more efficient.
